Junior Golf Leagues at Pine Ridge
BGA WINTER POLAR BEAR LEAGUE
League play begins Saturday, December 21 (Winter Solstice) and runs through February, 28.
REGISTER HERE - Disregard date and time on registration page, this is a winter long event.
Registration fee: $25
Includes Polar Bear Winter Hat, BMGC Gift cards awarded to players who play the most rounds in both the Adult and Junior division. Players are responsible for their own Green Fees and tee times. Games may be played anywhere but must be played outside, not on indoor simulators.
Open to Juniors and Adults
Play 5 holes, earn 1 point.
Play 9 holes, earn 2 points.
Play 18 holes, earn 5 points.
You will receive a link to a spreadsheet once you register so you can record your rounds.
Prizes dependent upon the number of players who sign up.

Sign ups for 2025 will begin January 7.

For Juniors who have participated in Pine Ridge Junior programs and have played at least 10 rounds of golf. (9 holes is fine)
Be able to transport your own clubs (push cart is fine). Be able to walk 9 holes and play a hole in 15 minutes or less on average

PGA Jr. League provides a fun, team-oriented approach to learning and enjoying golf. Players receive expert coaching and guidance from PGA/LPGA Professional Captains, wear numbered jerseys, and compete on teams with friends in a two-person scramble format that encourages mentoring and builds confidence. ($100 of registration fee goes to PGA JR League for jerseys, hats, etc.)
Spring 2025- We are running an in house league. 4 teams made up of 8 players will compete against one another at Pine Ridge and occasionally Mt. Pleasant.
Scramble format as opposed to stroke-play competition means players experience Less Stress and More Fun! Each hole should be played in 15 minutes or less. Players should be able to walk 9 holes carrying clubs or using a push cart. Some experience is required. Players should have played at least ten 9-hole rounds prior to playing on this JLG team.

Junior Development League 2025 (Registration begins January 2025)
For Juniors Ages 7-12 who have participated in Pine Ridge Clinics, Camps or Lessons
$175
Practices: Saturday 5:00-6:15PM
Matches: May 5:00-6:30PM
12-16 players
Introduces and develops juniors who are newer to the game to competitive golf.
Our goal is to prepare these athletes to compete on one of our PGA Jr. League Teams in the future and be able to safely go out on a course with supervision.
INCLUDES:
3 Practice Sessions led by BGA Coaches
3 5-Hole Matches overseen by BGA Coaches
Matches held at Pine Ridge
Thursday Evening Fall JR and Parent League (Fall, 2025)
For players who have participated in Baltimore Golf Academy programs including: PGA JR League, camps, clinics, private lessons. Parents may join us, too, but you have to be really fun! This is a no-whining League!
Cost is $125 per person.

5:30-7:00 Clinic- 45 minutes full swing range, 45 minutes short game putting and chipping
6:00-7:30 On Course Play-2 or 4 person scramble. More experienced players tee off first and play 5 plus holes.
5:00-6:30 On Course Play-2 or 4 person scramble. More experienced players tee off first and play 5 plus holes.
5:00-6:30 On Course Play-Individual scoring or 2 or 4 person scramble. More experienced players tee off first and play 5 plus holes.
